What We Do
MT Car Rentals does not own a single car. Every car on this platform belongs to a local rental operator, and our work is to bring those operators and their customers together:
we partner with car rental operators across the region and put their cars in one place;
we run the booking platform, the payment handling and the customer support that sit between you and the operator;
we consolidate a fragmented industry into a single, comparable, one-stop service.
The operators get a modern sales channel and a larger market than they could reach alone. You get a wider choice of cars, one place to compare them, and one place to turn to when something needs sorting out. It is a mutually beneficial arrangement that lifts the local travel industry along with it.
Booking With Us
Choose your location, dates and car
From compact cars to sedans, SUVs and 7- or 8-seater MPVs, compare what is actually available on your dates and pick the one that suits you.
Enter the driver's details and pay
We only ask for what is needed to put the booking through. It takes less than two minutes.
Pick up and drive
Meet the operator's representative at your chosen pick-up point at your chosen time, and drive away.
Why Customers Book Here
The price you see is the price. Your rental charge, the security deposit and anything payable at pick-up are all laid out before you pay, in your own currency.
Plans change. On eligible dates you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before pick-up and be refunded in full.
Registered operators only. We work with registered rental businesses, and every car is reviewed by us before it is allowed to appear here.
Someone to talk to. Our team is reachable by email, phone and WhatsApp before, during and after your rental.
In your language. The platform and your booking emails come in English, Malay, Indonesian and Thai.

Aini - booked for Aug 31, 2026 - Sep 1, 2026
Overall a good experience. Rental company was flexible to accommodate my schedule. Car was a bit late to arrive, but it was partially due to my own scheduling and Friday traffic. Car was a little dated, but it served it's function. Car and service were priced well for what I got. I would rent again. Thanks!
